SpaceX investors learned their share allocations after its $1.75T IPO, with demand so strong, up to four times oversubscribed, that many received only a fraction of what they applied for. Retail investors ended up with about 20% of the deal, short of the 30% Musk wanted, though 61% of them got full allocations, with orders under $2,700 filled completely and larger ones capped at 1,000 shares. Analysts are sharply divided on whether the $135 IPO price is justified, with Oppenheimer seeing the stock reaching $190 while Morningstar pegs fair value near $63, and the first real test coming when trading opens and again at the company's first earnings report this summer.
