Shopify adds five new Flow actions to automate data retrieval for abandoned checkouts, inventory, and more

by | Mar 25, 2026 | E-commerce News

Shopify expanded its Flow automation platform with five new “Get data” actions that allow merchants to query and retrieve lists of up to 100 resources directly within workflows, covering abandoned checkouts, inventory items, pages, catalogs, and workflow run details. The abandoned checkout action enables merchants to build automated recovery campaigns and lost sales reports, while the workflow run action lets them monitor retry patterns and audit trigger sources across their automations. Previously, accessing many of these data points required manually building custom HTTP request actions, and the new native actions are automatically maintained by Flow as the API evolves.
