Revolut, the European fintech valued at $75B, plans to expand its India global capability centre to 5,500 employees by the end of 2026, representing roughly 40% of its current 12,000-person global workforce, with 1,600 new roles spanning product development, payment processing, and fraud investigations. The company committed £500M to its India business and GCC over five years in 2025, with India CEO Paroma Chatterjee noting that about a third of Revolut's global processes already run from India, including transaction monitoring, AI-based alerts, and video KYC technology that has since been exported to other markets. Revolut is also preparing to launch its consumer product in India next quarter after receiving authorization to issue prepaid payment instruments in the country.
