RealTime Reservation, a hospitality booking-technology company, acquired STAY, a guest-engagement software firm, combining pre-arrival upselling with in-stay services into one platform for hotels. Backing came from Boston growth-equity firm Wavecrest Growth Partners through a strategic investment, with deal terms undisclosed. RealTime Reservation sells booking tools that let hotels offer onsite activities, amenities, and other add-ons, while STAY handles engagement during the stay, giving operators one system spanning booking, pre-arrival, and the visit itself. Combined, the platform will reach over 2,000 properties in more than 75 countries, with clients including Hyatt, Radisson, IHG, RIU, and Barceló. STAY will keep operating under Europe president Joan Lladó as the two fold their products together.
