PayTabs Group acquires UAE contactless payment platform TAPn’GO to expand its MENA merchant ecosystem

PayTabs Group, a Saudi Arabia-based payment orchestration company serving the MENA region, acquired TAPn'GO, a UAE contactless payment platform that enables smartphone-based checkout with features like bill splitting, tipping, and paperless receipts. TAPn'GO will be integrated into PayTabs' Super App, giving merchants across retail, hospitality, healthcare, and entertainment a unified in-store and digital payment experience. Contactless payments in MENA are growing at roughly 25% annually with real-time transactions expected to hit 3 billion by 2028, according to the company.
