OpenTable acquired Libro, a Montreal-based AI-driven restaurant reservation and table management platform, for an undisclosed amount, with the deal expected to strengthen OpenTable's presence in Canada, particularly in Quebec. Libro will continue operating under its own brand while gradually integrating its inventory, technology infrastructure, and security functions with OpenTable, and its restaurant partners will gain the option to join OpenTable's broader diner network for increased visibility and bookings. Libro's CEO and full leadership team will join OpenTable as part of the transaction.
