OpenAI partners with adtech firm LiveRamp to let ChatGPT advertisers measure whether their ads actually drive purchases

OpenAI is partnering with Publicis-owned adtech firm LiveRamp to let ChatGPT advertisers see whether their ads actually drove real-world purchases. The integration uses LiveRamp's Conversions API, the same conversion-tracking tool that Google, Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest already rely on, tracking in-store purchases first, with online conversions coming later. LiveRamp is the latest adtech partner OpenAI has signed in recent months, including Criteo, StackAdapt, Pacvue, and Kargo, alongside a newly launched self-serve ad platform. OpenAI is aiming for $2.5B in ad revenue in 2026, with plans to grow that number to $100B by 2030.
