Meta is testing a redesigned Threads web interface that adds a direct message inbox, which has been available in the mobile app since last June but was never brought to the web, along with shortcuts in the left rail for saved posts, insights, activity, and multiple feeds that were previously difficult to find. Threads head Connor Hayes said the company has already started testing the new layout and will be investing more in the web experience going forward, though no rollout date was given. Meta also rolled out a separate update on iOS that slightly indents replies under posts to make conversations easier to follow, with an Android version currently in testing.
