Marriott plans AI search rollout and partners with OpenAI to boost direct bookings

Marriott International reported a full-year net income of $2.6 billion and revealed that it is allocating approximately $440 million for digital transformation in 2026. The company is preparing to deploy natural language search features on its website and mobile app during the first half of the year. It also confirmed collaborations with Google and OpenAI to develop AI-powered travel tools and test advertising pilots within ChatGPT.
