Ledger, a Paris-based hardware crypto wallet maker, hired John Andrews, a former Circle executive who led that company's IPO process, as its new CFO. Andrews said his focus will be on preparing Ledger to access capital through private or public markets as needed, and the company is also opening a New York City office as part of a broader U.S. expansion. The Financial Times reported in January that Ledger has hired bankers for a U.S. IPO as soon as this year at a valuation above $4B, though Andrews cautioned that ongoing market volatility could push most near-term IPOs to pause.
