Iranian State Media Names Google, Microsoft, Palantir, and Others as Potential Targets as US-Israel Conflict Expands Into Digital Infrastructure

by | Mar 12, 2026 | E-commerce News

Iran's IRGC-linked Tasnim News Agency published a list of US technology companies with Israeli ties as potential targets, including Google, Microsoft, Palantir, IBM, Nvidia, and Oracle, warning that “as the scope of the regional war expands to infrastructure war, the scope of Iran's legitimate targets expands.” The warning follows Iranian drone strikes that damaged Amazon Web Services data centers in the UAE and Bahrain last week, and comes after Iran cited an alleged Israeli strike on a Tehran bank as justification for expanding targets to economic and banking infrastructure across the region. Several of the named companies have already asked Gulf-based employees to work remotely or activated contingency plans, while Palantir is the only one to have openly acknowledged a strategic partnership with Israel to support “war-related missions.”
