The San Francisco loft apartment where OpenAI's founders, including Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, worked out of in the company's earliest days before it had an office has been listed for sale at $1,545,000. The 1,816-square-foot upper unit at 2977 21st Street is a Victorian house built in 1885 and renovated in 2015, featuring three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two outdoor decks, vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, and wide-plank white oak flooring. The building's owner is also listing the entire building for just under $2M, and says most interested buyers have been drawn to the full building purchase rather than the upper unit alone.
