Google Finance is rolling out its AI-powered features to more than 100 countries over the coming weeks, expanding beyond the U.S. and India where it launched in August and November respectively, with full local language support and availability in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, Japan, and Mexico among others. The updated platform includes AI research tools that answer financial questions with sourced links, new charting features with technical indicators like moving average envelopes and candlestick charts, a revamped news feed, expanded data for commodities and cryptocurrencies, and live audio with synchronized transcripts and AI-generated insights for corporate earnings calls. Google also added Deep Research in November, which lets users ask open-ended financial questions and receive AI-generated responses with citations, alongside prediction market data from Kalshi and Polymarket.
