Google expands Gemini on Google TV with rich answers, interactive deep dives, and sports briefs

Google has updated Gemini on Google TV with three new features: richer search responses that combine video and visuals, a “deep dives” learning mode that delivers narrated, interactive breakdowns of topics like health or economics, and sports briefs that provide narrated updates, live scorecards, and viewing information for leagues including the NBA, NHL, and MLB. The features are now rolling out to Gemini-enabled Google TV devices in the U.S. and Canada, with broader device and country support expected later this year.
