Fundamental raises $255M & partners with AWS to launch NEXUS AI for enterprise spreadsheets

Fundamental, a San Francisco-based AI startup, raised $255 million in funding led by Oak HC/FT to launch NEXUS. The company, founded by former DeepMind researchers, is emerging from stealth with a “Large Tabular Model” designed to predict outcomes from structured enterprise data. The firm also announced a strategic partnership with AWS that is making the tool available directly through the cloud provider's dashboard.
