Disney+ adds short-form videos to boost engagement

Disney announced plans to introduce short-form video content to its Disney+ streaming service in the U.S. later this year. The company revealed the strategy at CES 2026 to increase daily engagement among younger viewers accustomed to TikTok and Instagram Reels. Executives stated the feature included a mix of original content and repurposed clips from existing movies and shows.
