Authentic Brands Group has restructured its top leadership, with founder Jamie Salter moving from CEO to executive chairman and Matt Maddox, who joined as president in January 2025 after 20 years at Wynn Resorts, taking over as CEO. As executive chairman, Salter will focus on long-term strategic priorities including mergers and acquisitions, global partnerships, and international expansion. Maddox will report to Salter, join the board, and oversee global operations. The reshuffle comes as Salter confirmed to CNBC that Authentic is targeting a public listing within the next 12 months. The company has filed to go public twice before, with both attempts ending in private equity buyouts at higher valuations. Authentic owns more than 50 fashion brands including Reebok, Champion, GUESS, Brooks Brothers, Juicy Couture, and Billabong.
