Anthropic's seven cofounders each saw their net worths more than double to roughly $16.6B following the AI company's $65B raise that valued it at $965B, per Forbes estimates. Siblings Dario and Daniela Amodei, along with cofounders Jack Clark, Sam McCandlish, Chris Olah, Tom Brown, and Jared Kaplan, each own just over 1.7% of the company. The valuation pushed Anthropic past archrival OpenAI, currently valued at $852B. The individual stakes still sit below OpenAI president Greg Brockman, who testified during the company's trial against Elon Musk this month that his stake is worth nearly $30B. But each cofounder's stake tops OpenAI cofounder Ilya Sutskever's, valued at around $7B based on his own trial testimony, and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, who holds no direct stake in OpenAI and is worth an estimated $3.5B from other investments.
