Anthropic posts $400K events lead role to take its AI brand on the road through in-person gatherings

Anthropic has posted an “events lead, brand” role based in San Francisco or New York with a salary range of $320,000 to $400,000, more than similar events positions at the company. The hire would produce everything from small invite-only gatherings to large-scale conferences featuring live demos, technical deep dives, and face-to-face conversations with policymakers and academic audiences, with 30% to 40% of the job spent traveling. Venture capitalist Marc Andreessen posted about the listing on X, writing that “when one thing becomes abundant and cheap, another thing becomes scarce and valuable,” per Business Insider.
