Greenboard, an AI-powered financial compliance automation platform used by more than 500 financial institutions, raised $15.5M in a Series A round led by Base10 Partners with participation from Y Combinator, General Catalyst, Commerce Ventures, Transpose Platform, and Liquid2 Ventures. The platform recently launched Greenboard Go, a conversational compliance product designed to help financial institutions automate compliance tasks that the company says are difficult to “vibe code” due to specific regulatory requirements around books and records. The startup, founded by Dave Feldman and Ed Schembor and part of Y Combinator's Winter 2024 cohort, uses an “expert in the loop” approach where AI handles routine tasks while human experts oversee the outputs, with 88% of customers eliminating multiple legacy compliance solutions after switching to Greenboard.
